The Noria MENA Program produces original research and policy recommendations on the region’s most pressing challenges. We do so by leveraging the wide-ranging expertise of team members alongside a novel, internally-developed method for gathering and analyzing data. This method leans heavily on fieldwork, which serves to ground our knowledge production efforts in the lived realities of the region.
With political economy as our primary interpretive lens, our analyses generate unique insights into issues related to conflict, social justice, economic development, and the climate transition. Carefully designed dissemination and outreach strategies ensure that our research findings reach all the places where impact is found: In the region and in Europe, our work helps equip general publics, journalists, and policy stakeholders with the information needed to engage complex issues.
