Clément Deshayes holds a PhD Candidate Paris 8 University, and teaches at Paris 1 University. He is also an associate researcher of LAVUE and the CEDEJ in Khartoum. His research addresses social and protest movements in urban contexts.
He holds a Master’s in Political Sociology from Paris-1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and a University Diploma in Arabic from Paris-4 Sorbonne University. He was also Project Manager at the CEDEJ, the French research center in Khartoum.
