Simon Mangon

Simon Mangon holds a PhD in political science from Sciences Po Aix and he is currently working as a lecturer in social sciences at Galatasaray University (Istanbul). He is also a research associate at Mesopolhis (Sciences Po Aix), Ifpo and IFEA. His thesis focused on the political dynamics of international media aid in the Arab world. More generally, he works on the sociology of journalists and researchers in authoritarian contexts, as well as the sociology of international aid and cooperation policies.
