Samir Legrand
Samir Legrand holds an MA in Contemporary History of the Arab World from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University. His earlier work examined the role of Rafik Hariri’s banking connections during the Lebanese Civil War (1975–1991). He now focuses on the involvement of Middle Eastern financial networks in reshaping the Syrian economy under Bashar al-Assad’s rule
