Paul Frissard Martínez

Paul Frissard Martínez is a researcher who specializes in studying violence dynamics, security policies and justice systems in Mexico and other Latin American countries.

He holds a master’s degree in Economics and Public Policy and a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Sciences Po Paris and currently works as a researcher at the Security Area of México Evalúa (think tank based in Mexico City).

Previously, as Director of Research and Public Policy at the NGO México Unido Contra la Delincuencia (MUCD), Paul created the first open data portal on illicit drugs’ seizures and crops’ eradications conducted by Mexican authorities since 1990.

He was also a consultant at the Access to Justice Unit of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and is the author of several policy reports published by MUCD and articles for Mexican digital media Nexos and Animal Político.
