Carolina Robledo Silvestre is a Colombian journalist and a Doctor in Sociology from the Colegio de México (Colmex). Carolina is now at CIESAS Ciudad de México. She is in charge of coordinating the Investigative group of Social and Forensic Anthropology (GIASF in Spanish) aiming to foster research and collaboration on forced disappearance, search of missing persons, documentation and judicialization of mass disappearance and other human rights violations in Mexico.

Her research focuses on: Anthropology of Human Rights and Justice; Critical analysis of memory practices; Sociocultural dimensions of victims’ organizations; Social representations of violence; Dynamics of resistance in contexts of non-conventional conflicts.
