Aminah Aminah Mohammad-Arif is a research fellow in anthropology at the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and is affiliated with the Centre for South Asian Studies (CEIAS, Paris).
She studies South Asian Muslims in minority contexts, with a current focus on Bangalore. Her publications include Salaam America: South Asian Muslims in New York City (Anthem Press, 2002) and Religions et politique en Asie du Sud: le sécularisme dans tous ses états? (with Christophe Jaffrelot, Paris, EHESS, 2012).
