Occasional publications

We encourage researchers, especially those at the beginning of their careers, to submit proposals for publications, including when it is their first experience publishing. Through a range of formats – interviews, fieldwork reports, or analytical pieces – these contributions highlight original data collected in the field, helping to develop solid arguments while remaining accessible to a non-specialist audience.

Special Feature: When Exception Becomes the Norm: Crisis as an Ordinary Experience in Venezuela

This special feature examines the dynamics that sustain and normalize the ongoing multidimensional crisis in Venezuela. It consists of six interviews in which the contributors, focusing on the everyday practices, interactions, and representations of subaltern, intermediary, and other anonymous actors in social and political life, shed light on the ways in which exception has come to function as a norm across Venezuelan society.
