Paulina Covarrubias Álvarez
Paulina Covarrubias Alvarez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multicultural Relations from the Department of Anthropology at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. She is a researcher specializing in violence from a human rights and intersectional feminist perspective. Since 2020, she has collaborated on various civil society projects, including Mexico Evalúa’s Security Program and Elementa DDHH, where she co-designed and implemented research and advocacy initiatives focused on public security policies, gender-based violence against women and girls, and drug policy. She has also served as a Program Officer, contributing to the establishment of Noria Research Mexico and Central America (Noria MXCA) and in the development of the Women and Political Violence in Puebla project. Currently, she is a fellow at Noria MXCA, where she continues to promote a critical analysis of violence to contribute to social justice.
