Yasmine Akrimi
Yasmine is a PhD candidate at the department of Conflict & Development at Ghent University. Her research looks at the intersection of race with postcolonial state formation and gender in Tunisia. She holds an MA in International Conflict and Security with a minor in migration from the University of Kent, Brussels campus. Her master's thesis looked at the racialization of sub-Saharan African migrants in Tunisia. She has collaborated with several think tanks and her work has been featured in various media outlets.
