Melissa Langworthy

Dr. Melissa Langworthy is a feminist economist specializing in political economy, gender equality, and economic justice. She is a Senior Gender Expert at Equinoccio, an implementing partner for the European Commission in the GCC region and Research Director at Includovate. She has nearly 20 years of experience working on issues of policy, labor, and gender equality for development institutions, government, and corporate social programs, including for Facebook, UN Women, UN ESCAP and Oxfam. Through her many publications, policy papers, and a forthcoming book, she continues to define and argue the terms that shape women's work and their role in society.
