Alexis Montambault Trudelle
Alexis Montambault-Trudelle is a postdoctoral researcher at the École supérieure d’études internationales (Université Laval) specializing in international political economy. He earned a Ph.D. in Politics and International Relations from the University of Edinburgh, publishing in leading journals such as Review of International Political Economy and New Political Economy. His research focuses on two main areas of interest. The first one explores the transformative role of sovereign wealth funds in Gulf
states, exploring their role in driving state-led socio-economic transformations. The second one investigates how the central role of private finance in climate adaptation shape states’ capacity to develop and execute decarbonization strategies.
